I can’t imagine what it was like to be Larry Williams.
He’s the one who captured this Indiana tornado photo of a massive twister near Borden, Indiana on March 2, 2012.
NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center received reports of 94 tornadoes in a single day. And while some of these will be duplicate reports, it’s very likely we had more tornadoes in one day than the U.S. typically sees for the entire month of March!
Updated 2/7/2012: Here are the National Weather Service Tornado Survey Results for Indiana tornadoes and Kentucky tornadoes. And here’s radar of the entire tornado outbreak. And pictures of  damage from the EF-4 long track tornado.
Meteorologists use damage surveys to determine how strong the winds were from each tornado.
Please send your thoughts and prayers to those who are hurting after the deadly tornado outbreak of March 2, 2012.
