It’s in the books: Portland’s longest January dry stretch in five years.
Seven dry days in a row may not sound like much, but in Portland, it’s rare. I wrote about Portland’s January dry stretches earlier this month.
The rain on Wednesday January 23rd also did something else: it brought in enough wind and motion in the atmosphere to break up the inversion we’ve seen for the last week.
Finally, at 10pm Wednesday night, Mt. Hood was colder than Portland. Ahhh, everything’s right with the world!
