That’s how I’d describe the end of Wednesday March 6, 2013. At least the end at the coast. Specifically, Agate Beach Oregon, near Newport. Claire captures that nicely.
And just as sweet is the sunset picture from Rockaway Beach, Oregon.

Inland, well, we went from very wet all day to not as wet in the evening. No sweet sunset views. But in Portland, we’re putting March 6th down as the fourth wettest day of 2013 so far.
What’s crazy, is that a measly .36″ felt like a deluge–and it ended up on the five wettest days of the year list. That is way out of whack.
But so far, Portland is at just 53% of typical rainfall for 2013. Mainly because of a February that was one of the driest on record! Now let’s see what March unloads on us…
