Want to send your name to Mars?
How about your dog’s name or the name of all the kids at your school?
NASA is making it possible—and I just finished writing about it at SecureWorldexpo.com. That is where I do most of my writing these days about cybersecurity and tech. This article definitely falls on the tech side of things:
“You can get your name etched on a robot that will (hopefully) start the world’s first ever round-trip journey to Mars.
NASA is launching the Mars 2020 rover next year.
It’s a robotic scientist weighing more than 2,300 pounds (1,000 kilograms) that will search for signs of past life, track the planet’s climate and geology, and collect samples for a future return to Earth.”
Check out the rest of the article at SecureWorld for details on how to put your name on the Mars 2020 rover and the links to do it. You can even get a free “boarding pass” and “space miles!”
Also, I’ll occasionally share articles on my blog about cybersecurity. Hopefully, a little insight will help you protect yourself.
In the meantime, it’s off to Mars where I doubt cybersecurity is a problem. For now…
