The clouds parted just in time for many of us in SW Washington and Oregon to catch a glimpse of the Super-Moon.

But aside from trying to enjoy the biggest looking moon in almost 20 years, were you worried something catastrophic might happen? A major quake, perhaps? If so, you’re not alone.
But it turns out the rumor that disaster was on the way was actually based on astrology and not scientific evidence.
